Ready for an interactive discussion on the topic of choice? NHK, Japan’s national public broadcasting organization, has tapped Columbia Business School professor Sheena Iyengar for the popular “Heated Debate in the Classroom” series. This sequence of five lectures will be videotaped with a live Columbia Business School student audience and broadcast on NHK in Japan in late November. Professor Iyengar, a leading expert on the topic of choice, will base her lectures on her award-winning book, The Art of Choosing. The video of her TED lecture on choice has been viewed by over 1 million people worldwide.
The five lectures will focus on three big questions on choice. Why do we choose? What affects how and what we choose? How can we improve our choosing experience?
